I saw you're going to be at XP2009 running a workshop. I'm also running a workshop there, and I'm looking for volunteers to perform prepared katas at it. Are you or anyone else from your dojo interested? There is a call for participation here http://codingdojo.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?KataWorkshop
Cheers,

Both here in London, as in São Paulo, my experiences with the Dojo have been really good. It's a great environment to try out new ideas, learn new languages, and make good (geek) friends :-)
I never came into a roadblock that we couldn't overcome. Most of the time, the concepts are not thought as in a usual class (someone explaining, and others listening), but it's more like a group discussion. People end up learning some things without noticing.
I've published some of my experiences with the Dojo in a paper presented last year at Agile 2008, and I know this year Hugo is proposing another session on the subject. I will also try to keep posting about it here in my blog, so stay around!
Thanks,
Danilo

Hi Parag,

Both here in London, as in São Paulo, my experiences with the Dojo have been really good. Nice to read about more people conducting coding dojo's. What have been your experiences while conducting these dojo's? Do people find these activities conducive to learning? Have you come across any roadblocks in trying to convey concepts to the participants in the dojo's.
It will be nice if you can blog your experiences while conducting coding dojo's.
